On October 21st, 1964 in the city of Gainesville, Florida, the By-Laws governing the operations and functioning of the Alachua County Chapter of the Florida A & M University National Alumni Association were adopted and approved by the alumni in attendance. Our charter members: Mr. Ira Charles Robinson, Mr. Arthur Benton, Mr. Marcus D. Boston, Mr. John Dukes, Jr., Mrs. Clarice E. James-Robinson, Mr. Samuel Roberts and Mr. Robert Bonner.
