The purpose of the membership committee is to work to recruit and retain membership in the Association by extending invitations to graduates and sharing the benefits of being a member.

Scholarship:

The Alachua County Alumni Chapter (Gainesville) Chapter of the Florida A & M University National Alumni Association is committed to providing scholarships to prospective and current students of Florida A&M University who might otherwise not have access to attaining their higher education goals without some form of financial support.

FUTURE ENDEAVORS

Future Endeavors: The Young Alumni's major purpose is to reach out to recent graduates to help them build a strong network within the local Alumni Association and community, maintain a strong connection with current Rattlers from the area, mentorship and support the goals of the Alumni Association as a whole.

Fundraising

The Alachua County Alumni Chapter of the Florida A & M University National Alumni Association is committed to raising funds to support Florida A&M University.

Governmental Relations:

This committee is focused on, keeping the Chapter informed, and strengthening advocacy efforts that support Florida A&M University through strategies that influence policymakers.

Advocating for the Florida A&M University is rewarding and exciting. It requires nothing more than good will towards the University, and the willingness to share that feeling.
